I wish I’d written this – I’ve been fascinated at Naked’s success – driven by their superb social media marketing. On the vin tank social media index they stand this week at number 3 for fan growth and social media success from a list of hundreds of U.S. wineries. This is a winery that goes well beyond a cute name to an overall strategy that turns occasional wine drinkers into loyal fans and repeat buyers. And much of the winery’s sales are the highest profit: direct.

I check this everyday. It uses a proprietary algorithm to calculate the top 50 most social media successful wineries on a day to day basis. And the only Oregon winery I’ve ever seen on it is Naked – consistently in the top 10, week after week.
